Thanksgiving is a time of joyful celebration, yet also a time of reflection. As Thanksgiving approaches, it is time to reflect with gratitude on the blessings and bounty that you have received. While making your holiday plans and reflecting on all you have to be thankful for, it’s also a good time to think about those who are less fortunate, and consider whether you can be of assistance to those who are in need. At EUMC, we are committed to providing EXTRA assistance to needy families during the holidays. With the pandemic and loss of employment, we have more people are seeking assistance than ever before, but resources are becoming limited. We dependent on the generosity of donors like yourselves, to continue to provide much-needed services to people in Annapolis who are need of assistance.
I am writing today to ask you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the Thanksgiving Basket Mission of EUMC. No donation is too small; any amount will be greatly appreciated. All funds received and designated for Thanksgiving Fund will go directly to support the needy families. What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than to make a conscious decision to help your neighbors who are in need?
