FOOD PANTRY MOVES TO ONCE A MONTH Bring your gifts and an hour of your time to the Community Food Pantry. ALL are welcome, including kids. We will continue to host a Food Pantry in the Parking lot on the Third Saturday of each month at 11am. We consistently host 75 families who walk up to our Food Pantry. Volunteers come from five churches, the neighboring apartments, and some folks searching for a workout not in a gym. Would you consider sorting donations and packing family boxes? This happens on a Tuesday from about 11am-12. These dates will be Nov. 17 and Dec. 15.
If those dates collide with your work schedule, we welcome you to our Saturday morning food disbursements on Nov 21 and Dec 19.
We love our neighborhood families and enjoy getting to know them. We’ve celebrated birthdays, shared books from the Little Free Library, had kids play in the playground while the Mommas select their produce from Grow Annapolis, and even had some volunteers hand carry the foods back to their homes to make it a bit easier for those in need. Come join our fun! You’ll see a few EUMC familiar faces there - Anne, Steven, Kim, Bill, Jen, Mitch and Barb, Sam, and Steve, Liam, Chris and Dominic.
