Join us for a free community event on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Eastport United Methodist Church. We're hosting "Burdens Men Carry," a panel discussion aimed at exploring the various issues that impact the psychological and emotional wellbeing of men.
Why is this important? Men often face unique challenges when it comes to mental health. Societal expectations, stigma, and a lack of open communication can make it difficult for men to seek help. This panel discussion aims to create a safe space for men (and everyone who cares about them) to learn more about mental health and how to navigate these challenges.
What to expect:
Three knowledgeable panelists will share their insights and experiences on male mental health.
The discussion will cover a range of topics, including:
Common mental health struggles faced by men
Strategies for coping with stress and anxiety
The importance of self-care
How to build healthy relationships
Resources available to men seeking help
After the discussion, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and connect with others.
We'll also have pizza and refreshments to enjoy!
This event is free and open to the public. Whether you're a man looking for support, a friend or family member who wants to learn more, or simply someone interested in mental health awareness, we encourage you to attend.
Spread the word! Help us break the stigma surrounding men's mental health by sharing this event with the men in your life.
